Project Manager

We currently have an opportunity in our Lubbock, TX office for an experienced Project Manager. This individual will be accountable to proactively lead the planning and execution of various hardware and software implementation projects across the Truno Retail Technology Solutions product lines and business units.

As a member of the emerging Project Management Office (PMO), primary responsibilities include management of Professional Services customer projects, as well as internal operations projects, including business process improvement initiatives.

The Project Manager will also play an exciting role in contributing to and leading aspects of developing the PMO department, methodologies, and processes within the company.

 

General Responsibilities

Accountable for the execution of typical waterfall project management activities, including, but not limited to:

    o   RFP and vendor selection processes

    o   Project Charters

    o   Scope Statements / Statements of Work

    o   Schedules

    o   Budgets

    o   Stakeholder Identification, Communications, and Expectations Management

    o   Process Mapping

    o   Requirements Gathering and Management

    o   Resource and Task Assignment/Management

    o   Risks and Issues Management/Resolution

    o   Change Control

    o   Design, Develop, Test, Deploy, Validate/QA

    o   UAT, Training, and Support

    o   Documentation

Schedules and leads project meetings

Documents / distributes meeting minutes and follows-up on Action Items

Provides regular project status updates

Participates in project intake, assessment, approval, and prioritization processes

Is an ambassador and champion for the PMO throughout the business

 

Education & Experience

    o   5-10 years of experience, preferably in a similar industry

    o   Bachelor Degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a similar field of study required

·         PMP certification or equivalent experience preferred

    o   Reports to the Director of PMO and Process Improvement

    o   This position has no reporting responsibilities

 


 Business Analyst

 

We currently have an opportunity in our Lubbock, TX office for an experienced Business Analyst. This individual will be primarily responsible for building and maintaining relationships with our business stakeholders, by advocating for their needs and perspectives, as a member of the emerging Project Management Office (PMO). S/he will serve as a liaison for a Phoenix, AZ-based Product Owner in our 2017 ERP Implementation Project and in doing so will have the ability to learn and develop skills used in the Scrum framework. The Business Analyst will also play an exicting role in contributing to and leading aspects of developing the PMO department, methodologies, and processes within the company.

 

General Responsibilities

·        Responsible for stakeholder expectations and communications management

·        Responsible for representation of stakeholders in requirements management

·        Schedules and leads stakeholders through Lean process mapping sessions

·        Creates process/data flow diagrams

·        Documents desired systematic workflow design plans

·        Conducts stakeholder interviews and writes User Stories

·        Documents Acceptance Criteria for each User Story

·        Continuously adds User Stories to Product Backlog

·        Performs User Acceptance Testing as part of the Scrum Development Team

·        Supports the Product Owner in validating User Stories against scope

·        Champion for the PMO throughout the business

Education & Experience

·        5-10 years of experience, preferably in a similar industry

·        Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or similar field of study required

·        Lean / Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent experience preferred

·        ECBA / CCBA / CBAP accreditation a plus
